A study on 64 patients with severe hip dysplasia found that transposition osteotomy of the acetabulum (TOA) with bone grafting is effective for correcting dysplastic acetabulum in younger individuals without advanced osteoarthritis. The surgical intervention led to significant improvements in hip scores and radiological parameters, with high survival rates at ten and fifteen years.
