Lesley Hughes discusses the current state of ecosystems and provides a three step assessment and management framework (3As Pathway: Awareness, Anticipation and Action) to alleviate further degradation of our ecosystems. Lesley Hughes is a Distinguished Professor of Biology and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Integrity & Development). She is an ecologist whose main research interest has been the impacts of climate change on species and ecosystems, and the implications of climate change for conservation.
