DNA Topology

Karin Valencia, Imperial College London, discusses DNA Structure and Topology. DNA is a double-stranded macromolecule in which each strand is a polymer of deoxyribonucleotide monomers. The monomers are linked by “phosphodiester bonds” between the 3′ carbon of one deoxyribose molecule and the 5′ carbon of another.
