Intellectual property rights in China

Foreign firms have long complained that enforcing their intellectual property rights in China is difficult. Paul Noon OBE, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Enterprise and Innovation), Coventry University describes the progress that has been made with regard to China’s treatment of intellectual property rights, emphasising why it is strategically important for China’s economy enhances protection of intellectual property rights. Paul Noon OBE leads Coventry University’s enterprise and innovation work following a successful career spanning over a quarter of a century with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), representing and promoting the best of British industry and technology across the globe.
