Joint Awareness after Hip Surgery for Dysplasia Patients

This study aimed to validate the Forgotten Joint Score-12 (FJS-12) in assessing periacetabular osteotomy (PAO) outcomes and determine the threshold for patient-acceptable symptom state (PASS). Data from 442 patients who underwent PAO were analyzed. FJS-12 showed good validity and reliability, with a threshold of 50 points indicating patient satisfaction. The study suggests FJS-12 as a valuable tool for evaluating PAO outcomes and guiding treatment decisions.
