Organ trafficking is a recognized human rights concern, with Israeli medical professionals playing a pivotal role in translating international norms to the local context. This study examines the approach of these professionals towards organ trafficking, highlighting the moral conflicts and challenges they face. Many healthcare professionals in Israel hold an ambivalent stance and prefer to overlook the phenomenon, reflecting deeply rooted local ethical perceptions. The study emphasizes the limitations of translators’ freedom and the role of professionals in societal change.
