Managing creativity in biotechnology ventures

Wilson Ng is Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Studies at Roehampton University Business School. He was previously Reader in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Acting Research Director of the School. Wilson’s research has involved comparative studies of management processes in both small and mid-sized firms that are engaged in technology and non-technology fields. Wilson is specifically interested in the ways in which creative actors are able to leverage the financial and human resources of ventures that they typically set up to develop new ideas for products and services. This issue has drawn Wilson to explore the activities of a range of actors in and around venture creation and contrasts with and complements much of the small business literature that has dwelt on the performance and growth of new business ventures.
