Visual improvement in patients with Leber’s hereditary Optic Neuropathy

Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON) is a mitochondrial disease characterized by central vision loss and a poor visual prognosis. Marcela Votruba discusses new insights and approaches to therapy.
